How Our Process Works

Surface Preparation

The process begins with thorough preparation of the vehicle’s surface. Technicians clean, sand, and, if necessary, repair any imperfections on the body panels to ensure a smooth foundation. OEM procedures require the use of specific primers, fillers, and sealers designed for the vehicle’s material (metal, aluminum, or plastic). Proper surface prep is essential for paint adhesion and long-term durability.

Priming & Sealing

Once the surface is prepped, an OEM-approved primer is applied to protect the panel and create an even surface for the basecoat. In some cases, a sealer is added to prevent color variations and ensure a consistent finish across repaired and original areas. Following OEM guidelines, each layer is applied at the correct thickness and cured properly to maintain factory-level quality.

Color Application

The basecoat, which provides the vehicle’s color, is applied using OEM-specified paint formulas. Modern refinishing often uses computerized mixing systems to achieve an exact match to the vehicle’s original color code. Depending on the finish, multiple coats may be applied, including metallic or pearl effects. This step ensures the new paint blends seamlessly with the existing finish and restores the vehicle’s original appearance.

Clearcoat & Finishing

Finally, a clearcoat is applied to seal and protect the color while providing gloss and UV resistance. Once cured, the surface is inspected and may be polished or buffed to remove minor imperfections. The finished result is a durable, factory-quality finish that meets OEM standards for appearance, protection, and longevity.

He kept me updated almost daily via iMessage and was very accommodating with my travel schedule. Like last time, I claimed through the other party’s insurance, so I can’t speak to the pricing. Overall, I highly recommend this place if you’re looking to repair your Tesla (which can be a bit fragile, unfortunately).

Can I get a rental car while my vehicle is being repaired?

Yes, we can help you arrange a rental car. If your insurance policy includes rental coverage, we’ll coordinate it directly with the provider. If not, we can still assist with options.
